I am an experienced General Practitioner with over 22 years in medicine, including 16 years as an NHS GP, Urgent Care provider, and Out-of-Hours (OOH) doctor. Currently, I practise in private healthcare at One Stop Doctors (OSD Healthcare).
In addition to my clinical work, I serve as a Clinical Reviewer for NHS England, am a GP Trainer, and have extensive experience as an Appraiser for NHS England.
My medical training was completed at Guy’s, King’s & St Thomas’ School of Medicine, followed by a career in hospital medicine at prestigious London institutions such as the Royal Brompton, Royal Marsden, Hammersmith, and Charing Cross Hospitals. I completed my Medical Physician exams (MRCP) in 2007 and initially focused on a career in Oncology at the Royal Marsden hospital.
My early academic work included research in gastrointestinal cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease, where I spent time at the internationally renowned Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, USA, contributing several published articles.
I completed my General Practitioner Training (MRCGP) in 2009 and have been a full-time NHS GP since, proudly serving the community in NW London & Hertfordshire. I have held leadership roles in Urgent Care services, including a clinical and management lead for Herts Urgent Care, the UK’s largest out-of-hours provider, until 2024. I have conducted weekly clinics and performed regular home visits throughout Hertfordshire since 2009.
Alongside my clinical practice, I am a certified GP trainer with nearly 15 years of experience mentoring the next generation of doctors both in the UK and internationally.
